Settle into this quiet and comfortable space for acoustic music rehearsals, temporary office projects or team think tanks. A light and bright space with carpeted floor and lovely acoustics. Away from distraction and surrounded by trees, it’s the perfect spot to knuckle down and get stuff done.
Main room: 6m x 12m + kitchenette. External loading ramp access (no stairs). Cream-painted walls with drawing-pin notice boards. Excellent natural light from east & west windows. Ceiling fans, opaque roller blinds, fluorescent lights, multiple power points, carpeted floor. Seating: ~20 padded solid chairs (great for musicians) + 15–20 lightweight folding chairs. 8 trestle tables, full-size fridge, 20 coffee mugs, freestanding non-electric urn, 20 each of dinner plates, bowls & side plates. BYO catering or packed lunch. A-Line ceiling delivers superb acoustics. End wall coverable for projector presentations. Rehearse with door open to hear birds in huge nearby trees, or closed for privacy. Enjoy coffee breaks on the verandah or picnic under the trees on sunny days — a truly stunning location. Noise restrictions: acoustic music only. Not for performances, parties or public visitors. Heritage-listed grounds behind a Federation house awaiting development.
We are located halfway between Parramatta and Sydney cities, very easy for newcomers to locate. Surrounding area is a school plus many heritage homes. A quiet, established residential neighbourhood.
CAFES: Homebush Village (recommended) or Strathfield Town Square (Woolies) are approx 10-15 minutes walk.
CARS: Handy to the M4, A3, Hume Highway and Parramatta Rd. We have on-site free parking for around 10-20 domestic vehicles. There is street parking which is more accessible in the weekends.
BUSES: 407 bus stops outside. Homebush Rd bus routes are very close by.
TRAINS: Strathfield Train Station is a major connecting point for train routes from the city (12 minutes express), West and North. The station is about 10 minutes walk.
