To apply for the studio, applicants must attend a walkthrough of the space with a Creative Spaces staff member on Tuesday 13th January 2026, 11am - 12pm.

River Studios is an award-winning architectural warehouse conversion in West Melbourne, nestled on the edge of the Maribyrnong River. Managed by the Creative Spaces program, it is a thriving studio facility for artists and other creatives.
Please note: images may be indicative only, and not of actual studio available.
The 3000sqm building spans over three levels and accommodates a broad range of practises including visual arts, sculpture, photography, making and design. However, due to the open plan of the building, some practices that create fumes such as spray painting are not suitable.
