River Studios is an award-winning architectural warehouse conversion in West Melbourne, nestled on the edge of the Maribyrnong River. Managed by the Creative Spaces program, it is a thriving studio facility for artists and other creatives. The studio is available from September 2023 on a 12-month licence. Attendance at a walkthrough is a prerequisite to applying. Walkthroughs will be held on Monday 7 August at 10am and Tuesday 8 August at 2pm. Please enquire via phone or email to register for the walkthrough. If enquiring via email, please let us know your art medium and which walk through time suits you!
The 3000sqm building spans over three levels and accommodates a broad range of practises including visual arts, sculpture, photography, making and design. However, due to the open plan of the building, some practices that create fumes such as spray painting are not suitable.
Applications close 3pm, Tuesday 15 August 2023.
