Space overview

We have one large shared table consisting of 10 desks . Each desk is 1.3m wide by 0.9m deep. There are 6 desks available There is a shared meeting table with monitor, a shared workbench / layout table and a shared materials library. There is additional storage if needed.

The space has a kitchenette with a large fridge, microwave & tea kettle. We have our own private bathroom with a shower. It is a well lit space with windows to the east and south. It has polished floor boards with carpet under the desks. All the desk chairs are Humanscale ergonomic chairs. Theres is an A3 lazer colour printer that can be used at cost rates.

We are on the corner of Abercrombie and O'Connor Street in Chippendale. So we are a 2 minute walk to Central Park. Central and Redfern Station are 10 minutes walk away.

We are a small Architecture practice. There are other creative offices in our building such as a photographic studio and Landscape Architecture firm on our level.

There is a Cafe (Something for Jess) at ground level in our building. There are cafe's and restaurants all around us and Central Park shopping centre with a Woolies and other shops is a 4 minute walk.

UTS and Sydney Uni are all within 5- 10 minutes walk from the office.

We are an Architecture and Interiors practice of 4 people. We are keen to share the space with other creatives.

We are generally pretty quiet but do take phone calls at our desks. There is some good banter at times between the team. We do have background music playing.

We like to keep things clean and tidy so if you are a messy creative maybe we are not the space for you.

We are approximately a 10 minute walk from both Central and Redfern Train Stations. We are a 2-3 minute walk from Broadway.

Parking

There is quite a lot of 1 hour parking around and clients generally don't have an issue finding somewhere to park. There is a clearway on Abercrombie that has 2 hour parking that starts 10am and goes till 3pm. Generally you can park there without getting a ticket if you need to bring a car in. There are some all day un restricted parking spaces around Chippendale but you are doing well if you get one of those.
