A bright, private and adaptable Inner West studio where small creative teams can rehearse, write, meet, exhibit and shoot without the cost or scale of a large venue.
The Place is a 37sqm ground-floor studio with high ceilings, clean white walls, large shopfront windows and plenty of natural light. The simple, neutral interior can be left open for rehearsals, movement and shoots, or arranged with tables and seating for writers’ rooms, readings, meetings and workshops. A projector can display directly onto the wall, and the flexible layout allows each booking to make the space its own.
The studio is on Victoria Street in Lewisham, moments from Lewisham Station and approximately five-ten minutes’ walk from the Lewisham West light rail stop. It is easily reached from across the Inner West and CBD, with street parking, cafés and food options nearby.

Bookings receive exclusive use of the studio. The space is best suited to small-cast rehearsals, scene work, table reads, writers’ rooms, auditions and casting sessions, workshops, production meetings, exhibitions and compact photography or content shoots. It is not soundproofed and is not suitable for loud music rehearsals or industrial work.
