WXYZ Studios are stunning, light-filled studios in North Melbourne, available for rehearsals, workshops, events and informal performances. Studio One is the main space, providing 186 sq m of purpose-designed dance studio with west-facing views over the docklands through the industrial windows. With white brick walls contrasting the dark roof, it’s a desirable location for filming and photoshoots too. The studio has a fully sprung floor with a reversible vinyl tarkett floor and black drapes along two sides, allowing privacy and flexibility with natural lighting. A sound system with a multi-channel mixer is also provided, though no mirrors are available. High speed wifi, kitchen facilities and change rooms including showers are available to all hirers. Studio One is wheelchair accessible, with step-free access throughout the studios, kitchen and change room areas. There is an accessible bathroom with toilet and shower with shower seat.
