Testing Grounds Emporium
Testing Grounds provides creative spaces for exhibitions, events, workshops and screenings. Located in two big old buildings near the Queen Victoria Markets, we have a range of low cost indoor spaces available for short-term hire.
On the 4th of October 2023, Testing Grounds turned 10. We are humbled to have been surrounded by such good people, so many experimental projects and new ways of thinking. This project began as a 12-month experiment in the back blocks of Melbourne's Arts Precinct and it's been a great pleasure working in public with thousands of people and over 900 projects since 2013. We are thankful to Creative Victoria and the City of Melbourne for the support. After 10 years of working and making outdoors, Testing Grounds is packing up the beams and columns and coming inside. We have come to the end of an era. Thank you, and see you inside.
