Exhibition: Printmaking: Surface + Environment.

This month at Assembly Point in Southbank, Print Council of Australia presents Printmaking: Surface + Environment.

This exhibition draws together artists who work with printmaking as an expanded field for conceptual investigation, and who explore ecological concerns in their multivalent practices. This is expressed via the materials used in the artworks themselves, often sourced from organic matter in the artists’ surrounding environment. Each artist examines the connect and disconnect between human and more than human worlds, probing the reality of post-colonial destruction for elements of survival and resilience.

Curated by Print Council of Australia

Featuring Raymond Arnold, Kate Gorringe-Smith, Bronwyn Rees, Celia Walker

On until 28 May.
