Space overview
Assembly Point is a public realm exhibition space, consisting of five glass vitrines lining the walkway between Sturt and Moore Streets, Southbank. It provides an exceptional venue for curating and exhibiting sculptural, two and three-dimensional, large and small scale works.
Located at 152 Sturt St in Southbank, Assembly Point sits at the centre of Melbourne’s Arts Precinct and lines the walkway between Sturt and Moore St. Accessible 24/7, the space is adjacent to Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) and National Gallery of Victoria (NGV International) and opposite the National Institute of Performing Art’s (NIDA) Melbourne hub.
Creative Spaces respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation and pays respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We are committed to our reconciliation journey, because at its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples, for the benefit of all Victorians.
